“Reve de Paris” is a 12x12x1.5 Mixed Media Painting on canvas, inspired by my recent trip to the City of Lights.
Our favorite yellow bird has found her way to Paris and enjoys a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower from her perch inside the beautiful Jardin des Plantes. Mixed media elements include vintage French advertisements, a page from a French romance novel, and other ephemera gathered from my trip — in addition to my own hand-printed monoprints. Colors are inspired by the traditional French flag. :-)
